How do I make sure that I make an instant payment with PayPal?

There are two ways to make sure that you make an instant payment with PayPal, and not an eCheck.

• you need to pay with a credit card through PayPal
• you need to have a bank account set up with PayPal, as well as a backup funding source, such as a credit card

PayPal will allow most people to set up an account that will allow them to pay by debit card, credit card, echeck or instant bank transfer. PayPal upgrades are instantaneous once PayPal receives your payment. For more information about PayPal, please visit http://www.PayPal.com

Note: If you choose to pay with a payment option where PayPal has to wait for the payment to clear, such as with an echeck, you will be upgraded only after the payment has cleared.
